1, Premium water-cooled WP-20F flexible head design for high-amperage TIG welding and better access in tight spaces.
2, Handles up to 250 Amps of welding power for sustained, heavy-duty applications, ensuring long-lasting performance.
3, Complete 25-foot (8-meter) power cable assembly for extended reach and flexibility across your workshop area.
4, Includes a protective cable cover to shield the torch hose and cable from wear, cuts, heat, and abrasion damage.
5, Features standard connections (5/8"-18 RH Gas, 5/8"-18 LH Water, 7/8"-14 LH Power) for compatibility with many welders.
Q: How do I connect the 3 hoses to my welder?
Q: How do I connect the 3 hoses to my welder?
A: Connecting a water-cooled torch requires a specific setup:
Power/Water Return (7/8"-14 LH): This large cable connects to your welder's negative terminal. Note: Most modern inverters require a Water-Cooled DINSE Adapter (sold separately) to bridge this connection.
Water In (5/8"-18 LH): This hose (usually blue) connects directly to the "Cold" output of your water cooler.
Gas In (5/8"-18 RH): This hose (usually black) connects to your gas solenoid or flowmeter.
Q: Can I run this torch without a water cooler?
Q: Can I run this torch without a water cooler?
A: ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Why: The internal power cable is very thin and relies on the flow of water to keep it from melting.
Result: Running this torch "dry"—even for 10 seconds—will melt the internal cable and destroy the torch instantly. You must have a water cooler running before striking an arc.
Q: Will this fit my Miller/Lincoln/Everlast welder?
Q: Will this fit my Miller/Lincoln/Everlast welder?
A: The torch itself has standard threaded nuts.
For machines with threaded studs: It may screw on directly.
For machines with DINSE ports: You will likely need a 35-50 (large) or 10-25 (small) water-cooled adapter block. Check your machine's manual for "Water Cooled Adapter" requirements.
Performance & Features
Q: Why choose the WP-20F over a WP-17 or WP-26?
Q: Why choose the WP-20F over a WP-17 or WP-26?
A: The WP-20 is the ultimate TIG torch because it offers High Power in a Small Size.
WP-26 (Air Cooled): Huge, bulky, hard to hold.
WP-20 (Water Cooled): Small, nimble (size of a pencil), but handles 250 Amps. It allows you to weld thick aluminum comfortably all day long.
Q: What consumables does this torch use?
Q: What consumables does this torch use?
A: This torch uses 2-Series (13N Series) consumables.
It shares the same cups, collets, and gas lenses as the smaller WP-9 torch.
Note: It does NOT fit the larger 10N consumables used by WP-17/18/26 torches.
Q: Is the head flexible?
Q: Is the head flexible?
A: Yes, the "F" in WP-20F stands for Flexible Head. You can gently bend the neck to reach difficult angles, such as inside manifolds or around roll cage tubing.
Maintenance & Care
Q: What is the "Protective Cover" made of?
Q: What is the "Protective Cover" made of?
A: The 25-foot cable assembly comes encased in a Heavy-Duty Nylon/Fabric zipper or velcro cover. This protects the three rubber hoses from getting cut on sharp metal edges or burned by hot sparks on the shop floor.
Q: Can I use tap water in my cooler?
Q: Can I use tap water in my cooler?
A: We recommend using a specialized TIG Coolant or distilled water.
Tap Water: Contains minerals that can clog the tiny passages in the torch head over time (calcification), leading to overheating and failure.
