How to install the headgear of the welding helmet

A fast guide to help you install the headgear of the welding helmet.

The headgear you’ve received should have already been assembled, if not, please don’t worry too much, here is a fast guide of how to set up the headgear.

lets get all the parts we need ready.

First, we need to put these two parts on the helmet,

This ring-shaped component has three protrusions, to secure it to the helmet, we need to position it in this way, and this way only.

Then we can insert this small sleeve-like component, the component was designed to fit just right in, so it might take a little push to get in.

Alright, we can repeat the steps on the other side of the helmet.

Now, the adjustable structure need these 3 components, this piece with a square hole, this key like part, and this component with screw.

First, we put this square hole piece on this component, these parts are designed in a certain way, so please make sure the parts are assembled in the right way. The four little pillar of the square hole piece and bump on the other component on the same direction, which means the opposite direction of the pressable button.

Then put the key like piece on, hook it on the second pillar, or the first pillar, which are the most used position.

Then, put this assembled component through the square hole which we have just installed. The screw pillar are square too, so we only put it through in the right angle. Sometimes, we might disconnect the parts, but we can always do it over again.

Next, take the knob, put it on, and tighten this knob to the appropriate tightness.

Then we repeat these steps on the other side of the helmet.

Finally, we need to put the head band on, I think you have noticed, on this component, there are designed structures can clip the head band. We just need to press the button here, and hold it, align the protrusion on the headband with the slot here, push or pull the band to the right place, release the button, make sure the band was clipped steady. there are 3 manual adjustable distance from the headgear to the lens, choose the right one for you.

Repeat the steps on the other side of the helmet.
